You can perhaps get away with it in live situations, but not in recordings.
This latency setting would still be seen as NOT GOOD! Some latency settings are working fine, but have a small crack every 10 or 30 seconds. On the latter it may be possible to reach latencies within the 5ms range (with cracking), but a good latency setting NEVER cracks! Eg: SuperiorDrumming has a much higher latency, than an optimized drum program that only has 2MB of drum samples. I am curently running Sonar Producer 8.5.3 with a DM6 5-piece, connecting directly into my computer with usb from the back of the drum module to the usb port on the back of my computer. It seems to be only a second or two and I have been over my settings a few times. I am trying to find a solution to my latency between my DM6 and live playback though my monitors using Session drummers kits.
